[SOLVED] Adding color codes to server MOTD?

I've seen a few fcraft servers with colors in their MOTD i want to update my server by adding this, anyway of doing it?
Use normal color codes when you specify your MOTD, but replace '%' with '&'.
Example: &aWelcome to the &cSERVER&a! = Welcome to the SERVER!
