On our server www.OMGWTFHAX.info Freebuild. It seems like every other world we make some how gets deleted and replaces itself with a 128x128x64 world. The build permissions, and World name stay the same. But everything inside and the demensions are gone. This hasn't happend before and it's been happening a lot lately.

Don't believe me? Join our server.

I've seen this before when a server runs out of memory and crashes. This may be caused by too many too large worlds.

If your server isn't very strong, try to keep your maps a bit smaller. If you're sure the server can handle it, I don't know what is causing it.

The empty 128 128 64 map is the default fCraft map and is usually put in place when the original could not be loaded successfully.

Can you check logs for any warning messages? For example, any of the following types of messages:

Code: Select all

World.LoadMap: Map file missing for world _____. Generating default flatgrass map.
ERROR: Map.Save: Unable to open file "____" for writing: ____
ERROR: Error trying to replace file "____": ____
ERROR: Map failed to save: ____
Also, could you tell me what fCraft version you are using, and what platform/OS you are running under?

He isn't running the server. This is the same as I'm playing on.
It's running the latest stable (0.615), and I THINK it's Windows 7, at least Windows.
The owner will be asked about the log.
