So, the SMP server recently went down or something, and at the time it went down I happened to have 49 xp levels.

When I logged back in after it came up, I had 0.

0.

I can live with this, it is not that big of a deal, but is this just a glitch? Yes, it is just xp, but it is somewhat annoying.

Pelvic has been talking of a rollback.

This would make sense.

Sorry to waste your time.

The server data save interval is something like an hour or two. If the server stops normally (as in /stop or something) then it saves everything to file. However, if it crashes, all that floating data is lost.

Minecraft is not a very well designed game.
