This is for all those fCrafters who have joined the 79th regiment with me in Mount and Blade Napoleonic War DLC.

We have changed to The 33rd b/c of historically issues.

Thats the new site, new steam group is still not up.

Those who have stumbled in here b/c they are board. Join if you want, but recruitment has been closed to June 15th due to overflow of people.

For the record, there were 5 of us, but Dobby got bored one day and shot Smokey in the face during a training session. So now it's just me, Hylloch, Smokey, and Polak.

I got banned for running up to SmokeyBacon, during Strict regime training, and shooting him in the face. I think I also sparked a rage post by the owner. Im not going to have a chance getting back, nor do I really want to, because if I do, I'l just shoot Hyllloch in the face and get banned again.

So that's what the British army is up to..

Shooting each other in the face. Seems about right.

I haven't done anything now for over a week, and I'll probably not bother going back. I was pretty taken aback when they demoted 90% of the regulars to privates for not being good enough at melee. If you want a way to kill a gaming group then that's a pretty good method. Maybe we should just form a small regiment of our own, without being so serious to the point of being stuck-up assholes.

Does it have to be Napoleonic though? I prefer the bow and arrow era.

As of late we have barely played the game as a group, instead its been all "hurr durr regiments" or "hurr durr standing in long lines increases fire concentration and gives me a boner". We have barely played the classic M&B:W. I think I also prefer the bows.

Then again, I might just be mad from being banned on two servers, when i did nothing wrong.

That was cuz they were resizing the derps out.

The derps and also the people that were actualy better than the leaders. They just couldnt accept I was more pro and had better tactics than standing in a line.

Shut up. You join a regiment to stand in a line, not play Call of Duty: Renaissance Warfare.

If they want rank progression based purely on skill (exclusively melee), rather than discipline, dedication and maturity, they're going to end up with a shitty regiment. Heck, they already had that; 95% of the NCOs and Officers were elitist morons who couldn't give a crap about the guys they were meant to be leading, only about how well they could 'do the dolphin'.

In the 2 weeks I played in the 79th, I had fun because they were a very large regiment, and the line battles they had were huge and very impressive. I also got along with some of the Regulars (who have probably been demoted or kicked out by now), but never with any NCOs or above.

Wrong, I join a regiment to stand in a line, then break away and shoot you in the face.

Much better than "Carl of dootie: renacence warfere "

I agree with Smokey I think we should start up our own little regiment (sorry for the thread bump)
