Mars Rover

For those who aren't aware, NASA has been working on sending a rover to Mars and in ~6 hours, if everything goes according to plan, it will land. But really, yay NASA! I was reading about this at work while I had nothing to do this past week. They're using some new high-tech landing mechanism that may or may not work, read up on it.

Curiosity successfully landed at 05:32 AM UTC on August 6th, 2012. These images were the first Hi-Res photos received. Absolutely epic.
