The question is simply; how often doos minecraft.net/classic/list require heartbeats to be sent? How many seconds can the server be offline without being removed from the list?

There is no official information. In my experience, you have to send heartbeats at LEAST every 60 seconds to stay on the list. Preferably quicker than that.
