Guys, Mojang was able to let us in on the closed beta to Minecraft 2.0, the newest version, so we have set up a small test server. While things are pretty similar, you can find out what has changed in the link below.

I tried to connect to this server, only to find that it was unable to connect. This is unacceptable, as I am now delayed in my quest to unlock all 28 fishing achievements.

It worked perfectly for me. I'm now happily fighting hordes of chickens.
