Classic server connection issues

Hello, I've been having a fair share of issues revolving joining the classic server. And I'm wondering if anybody knows a solution.
Im using a Macbook pro Version 10.7.5 Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5, Memory 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3 (Dont know if this will help but ill just put it out there)
Wom: When I hit resume it says Connecting... for a while in till it says failed to connect the server may be down. When I hit Sign In it gives me the unable to authenticate error. Worked in the past don't know why it doesn't work anymore.
xWom: Spent an hour on skype with CrimsonTensai and that wouldn't work either. Used the steps found here. http://mcdzienny.cba.pl/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1925
Charged Miners: Since im using a mac and when you download charged miners its an .exe so I cant run it. I used Winebottler which is a program used to convert .exe files. It converted the application but when you run it it opens for a second then closes. I've searched the problem and it seems everyone gets this problem.
Minecraft.net: When attempting to play the server on minecraft.net which fixes the unable to authenticate error when using wom I just get a blank screen or get this error org.lwjgl.LWJGLException: Could not get JAWT interface. Any help would be appreciated.

If your using 7 uninstall it and reinstall 6

Im currently using java 7 ill see if java 6 makes a difference.

Try the mppass method in the Direct Connect field, it is the only way WoM or XWoM work for me.

Tried that but get the unable to authenticate error, only way to fix that (atleast on my computer) is to go on minecraft.net and join the server directly from there which I cant do because java is messed up.
