Reason Given: {the auto promotion went to fast}
{why I should be re-promoted} Well I think I have put in enough hours on here ,71.8 hors total hours now and have placed 88,000 blocks. I know I went form builder to veteran in 2 minutes, but like I said before i spent alot of time on the server. I think if the rank is auto, then I did deserve to be veteran rank }

so please consider re-promoting me

Well, The auto promotion went a bit too fast. Spend some time as a builder than you'll get promoted to veteran. I promise.

As for to get veteran back, Denied. Sorry, It just isn't fair that you barely spent 2 seconds as a builder than any other builder. We will see how it goes.

Just my two cents: it rather shows that our staff failed a bit here. This guy must have spent a shitton of time as a guest on the server, even fulfilling vet requirements, so also chatting and such - LOL.

No, the breakdown lim is talking about is it taking so long for this guy to get builder.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but i remember this guy being banned/unbanned a few times. I even remember us being amused at his username (when it said something like Player pleaseunbanme1 tried to log in from banned IP [or acc idr]) to try and get staff to unban him. Again please correct me if that was a different player with a similar username, but I don't think it was all staff's fault.

This was the impression I got from him. "pleaseunbanme" had told me ingame that he had been banned and cleared by an "admin" before...
Not being able to get the entire story...(after asking "pleaseunbanme" for the reason as to the ban) I took what I could see from /info (Being a seemingly clear guest record with veteran stats) and assumed that he had been demoted from veteran before.

Seeing his new build however and realizing that no completely malicious players stay on our servers for more than 30 hours, I promoted him to builder status after clearing it with David(at least I think it was him). I proceeded to freak out a little bit when he was automatically promoted to veteran, and had begun to think that I had done something out of line.

Thinking this type of instant promotion was counter-intuitive to whatever /may/ have been in place by another admin, I assumed it my responsibility to ask DreamingInsane if a demotion was fitting In which "pleaseunbanme" was promptly "set" back to a builder level.

I apologize If I made a mistake in initially promoting him, but I was trying to ensure that a producer of good material had, at his hands, the tools to do so, while, at the same time, keeping myself in a sort of "op safety zone."
In my judgement, it was the best decision I could've made at the time given the information at my disposal.

Perhaps continue this in a staff thread.
