Of course, hosting cracked/pirated games is one of the core goals for fCraft official.

In case some people didn't get splattered by the sarcasm dripping from Sanjar's post, no, I very much doubt that fCraft Official will ever run cracked servers. In fact, I'd wager 1000 euro on it.

We are not cracking the server. I'm not speaking officially here, but I know Haf and Lim fairly well (or at least I think I do, I've been around a while), and they wouldn't do such a thing.
Play illegally somewhere else.

That is the lamest excuse ever used by nerds everywhere. ;-)
$20 is like two decent meals? If you don't have $20 for the game you want to play for weeks, then how do you have money for Internet? For a computer? Save up on some soda and chips and you'll get there.
I have never seen a person who can afford computers that couldn't afford at least SOME games - it's all about picking and choosing the right ones, not buying tons of them of course.
Ah, and don't get me wrong - I pirate stuff all the time, I'm just of the opinion that the stuff I play for extended periods of time and that I like DESERVES to be paid for.

In all fairness, having $20 and being able to spend $20 online are entirely different ball games. However, we won't be hosting any cracked servers.

Visa gift cards? It's not hard to get money for online use. I mean, they're what I use.

Don't get me wrong, i often run into trouble when i want to buy stuff online, because i do not have a credit card. However, if you know someone who does have one, ask them to buy it for you, then give them the money.
Almost everybody pirates stuff. I for one will never buy songs off iTunes, or buy a movie when i can just download the torrent for free. However, if you want to break the law that's your business. Asking an entire server to break the law, that could be caught much more easily.

And also, we're not gonna commit a felony so you can commit a felony.

Really? Pirating is a felony? I did not know that

Well, they try to put it under DMCA, which permits a felony charge for copyright infringement for distribution of copyrighted material (which includes cracks, though I've never heard of content-free cracked executable files being prosecuted for, just whole games [which cracked MC falls under]). Sometimes they try to hit users with it too.
http://www.copyright.gov/help/faq/faq-infringement.html
EDIT: If you're torrenting and seeding, that means copyright holders can hit you with a ton of crap, though they typically file it as a civil case to get more money, at least in examples I've heard of. (And they're more than happy to settle out of court for $9001M)

A lot of ISP's will turn people over, but typically fairly slowly or after a warning.

That's why I high jack my neighbor's internet
Does changing your ip help cover your tracks?

Not with your ISP. They (should) know who had what IP when.

If you're jacking internet, you shouldn't worry about the piracy charges. The charges for hijacking connections are pretty bad depending on where you live.

Well its kindof a mutual consent, he lets me do it. However if the the cops come and attempt to arrest him for piracy, he's obviously gonna rat me out haha

Ah, if he lets you, it's ok. Except that he could get in trouble, but eh.
