i know i have brought this up before but every time i play minecraft beta, it freezes on me, i have installed mods and i am betting they are the root of the problem, but ide rather not get rid of them, if anyone else has had this problem and fixed it, please tell me what you did, this is basically not making me want to even play smp anymore, i often just get pissed at it and quit for about a week or so. please help me

its only the download that freezes, but with the browser it gets done loading and goes to a blank white screen :/

Don’t worry, that happens to me heaps on smp too. Have you turned your graphics to fast and your render distance to normal/small?
Other then that, im not much help :P, and i still freeze and have a blank screen sometimes...

Updata Java.

Go to uninstall or change programs in control panel. Uninstall any old versions of the java update you have.
