[DONE] Nicknames?

Hi all!

I don't know if there are a mod for this or whatsoever, but one of the ppl playing on my server, wishes the ability to use nicknames.
Like setting a nickname, and then you can see the real name in /info or whatever.

Just want to know your opinion

PS: I know that this was before, long, long time ago.

This feature used to exist in fCraft, but it was very confusing and prone to abuse. So it was removed from fCraft about a year ago. I currently have no plans to bring it back.

Maybe make it vet+? Or is it being completely diesregarded, I don't mind, it'd be a good feature though.

What he REALLY meant, was giving the players an ability to title. Like /title bobkare N00B would make my name in chat, and ONLY in chat like this:

Hehe, when I ran my server I used to use /nick to become GOD
(Actually, that's a perfect example of abuse. At least I was smart enough not to give the command to any of my other ranks)

He understood what you're saying. He is merely saying that's it was implemented in a past version of fCraft and was abused. Therefore, don't count on it being back anytime soon.

Instead of:

BobKare: <3

By /nick bobkare HeinzAre

One of the players on my server told me to suggest this!

I'm going to lump /title, /color, and all the custom name shenanigans into one command. You'll just be able to set whatever piece of text you want to be shown when a player's name comes up.

but when i have a changed nick, it should be:

[n]Admin

or smth

Heeeeeere we go again! Of course this made colored nicknames and titles immensely easy to use but the potential for abuse is gigantic. We had name changing before in fCraft. :3

It's owner+ in default fCraft settings, and trustee+ on fCraft.net Freebuild Official. I hope high restrictions will mitigate the abuse somewhat.
