Stupid broken game

Well my MC is broken, far more than usual, both SMP and classic. Normally any problems i can fix in about an hour max... but this time, its super f*cked. I spent 7 hours today trying to fix it, no luck. It stays stuck on loading screen with progess bar empty on classic, in case any of you have had that problem before. Trust me i tried EVERYTHING. I'm just saying that i probably won't be around for a while.

Have you tried uninstalling both java and minecraft and reloading them from scratch?

I get this all the time. It's usually cos I have youtube open. Don't know why it does that. Closing the game, then closing youtube and reopening the game usually fixes it.

I thought for a second that closing you tube could be it since im on the thing 24/7 sadly no luck. Iv'e also tried reinstalling MC, and java many times. Also tried many different minecraft.jar files etc. Nothing Thanks for the suggestions anyway.

Can't you recover your computer to a date before it crashed?

If restoring it doesn't work, what OS are you using? Even though it isn't recommended, I have 32-bit Java with a 64bit OS and ALL my minecraft problems including WOM were solved.

Try updating the video card readers, always a problem for me

Nothing works. For some reason it has decided to not even load you tube, or play any videos except on some websites. Deleting everything and reinstalling java and flash player doesn't work. Huzzah for computers.

What OS are you running?

Its 32-bit windows, but ive tried 64-bit java/flash aswell. The only website that seems to play videos is BBC iPlayer.

Well at least battleships is ok

If you're on 32-bit do not, under any circumstances, use 64-bit stuff.

1. Update video drivers
2. Uninstall Java, then update Java
3. Never use 64-bit files if your OS is 32-bit
4. If you use Internet Explorer, switch to Firefox

Admittedly i did get pretty desperate and tried stuff that could never work in a million years
I logged on the other day on a different PC, battleships looks pretty damn awesome, i assume i have smokey to thank for that
I'm thinking about nuking my PC....

It sounds like your display card/driver is flabbergasted. And I arranged Battleships a bit more nicely and fixed the corrupted stuff. I somehow lost your sub in the process but I do have it on a backup somewhere.
