some of you may have heard I was creating a custom bench for a charitable art project in a nearby city in ohio.
well here's what i did for those who care.
hand carved wooden bench.

But nice work man! Must have taken quite a decent effort. Was it all you or did you have some help on like, the painting and stuff?

nah. I did it all from sketch to completion.
total was about 30-40 hours between carving and painting.

Any chances you'd upload 'schematics' of that bench? I always wanted to take a shot at woodcrafting and this bench would look interesting in my garden.

that's probably 40 hours labor from start to finish.
not too-too bad honestly.
softer wood or better power wood carving bits would have helped but eh, you make do.
I would probably charge a grand for somethign like this if someone commissioned it.
if i was painting it only, not carving, probably 500.
