[CLOSED] Question For Fragmer....(Ports)

Okay This is what is goin on.

I have a friend that sais there is a few people who know how the ancient old school secrets of "The Ports"

I would love to become on of them people to know "The Secret".

Because at this current time My friends server is low down on the list and i would love to help him out but i can't because i dont know how to find good ports for him to put in so he can be higher so here is my question to you Fragmer.

Will you teach me how to find new ports to get my friend higher on the list or atleast please tell me a port high on the list this would help me very much and if you teach me the secret i wont tell any1 even the person im doing it for because i honour Ancient Old School Tricks because i know a fair few of them about different things Which i prefer not to share due to the terms i agreed to unto learning them anyway Thanks in advance for any help you may give

The sort is random due to incompetence and/or laziness of the web developer of minecraft.net. I have talked to him about the sorting and he said that the list is sorted "the way it comes out of the database" and that he does not know or care about the order. This conversation took place back in May, so it looks like no one plans on fixing it. Basically there is no pattern or logic to the sort order.

The server hash is determined by a combination of IP address and port number, so you can try a bunch of different port numbers until you get lucky.

They are random on minecraft.net but it is sorted alphabetically on WOM. Do what others do and put 0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0 before the server name and it gets put near the top (the more 0.'s the better :P )

Well after an hour of looking through ports i finally got one, tht got me 4th on the list,
it would be an honor if fragmer came onto my server and even more of an honor if notch did ;D
