well due to multiple computer scans, it appears i have a virus , so while i am taking care of this i will most likely not be active for a few days, hopefully.
and to help prevent this from happening in the future, what antivirus programs do you suggest?

Nah, I've personally had Norton, AVG, and Avast. I must say that Avast is the most reliable one I've ever had. Neither have I had a problem with it deleting my windows files

Meh, But it simply deletes system files if they have viruses. So yeah.. Be careful when you use it.
