I CANT REACH MY SERVER

When i type in my ip address into multiplayer minecraft it says Can't reach server and really need help! my ip is

2.123.122.47:25565

am i meant to put in the 25565?

Trying to connect through 1.2/Full Minecraft/Previously beta?

fCraft is a Minecraft CLASSIC Server Software, and does not support this.
If this is Classic, make sure you forwarded your ports properly, and that you opened your firewall.

If you're trying to play on the same computer that's running the server, connect to localhost (127.0.0.1) not your external IP.
